The Museo della Cantieristica di Monfalcone-MuCa (Monfalcone Shipyard Museum) is located on the ground floor of the former workers’ hotel in the Village of Panzano, the ‘company town’ built around the shipyard on the initiative of the first owners, the Cosulichs. The museum tells the story of the shipyard and the town through an exhibition itinerary divided into sections. The only Italian museum dedicated to the shipyard and its impact on the territory, it deals with more than a century of history through testimonies and documents, using a contemporary language and the most modern multimedia technologies. The MuCa is part of the Polo Museale della Cantieristica Navale di Monfalcone (Monfalcone Shipyard Museum Centre) project, a diffuse museum that directly involves the territory, including a series of external routes in the village of Panzano. Combined guided tours of the museum and the shipyard and guided walks in the village are offered.
