The Town Hall was built in 1860 in a neoclassical style according to a design by the architect Parrucchetti. The structure underwent three extensions, and after World War I, it was extended by incorporating part of the Ricci House, the former garrison residence. As a result of restoration work begun in 2014, archaeological finds of great interest were discovered dating back to the foundations of the medieval city walls and the northern tower gate. In addition, ceramic and glass materials (14th - 15th century) and a valuable broadsword were found. The Municipal Council Hall houses two frescoes from the late Gothic period, found in the Ricci House in 1922, depicting scenes of Good Government.
The Town Hall is adorned with town symbols and memories: the marble emblem of the 14th-century falcon and two marbles by sculptor Ferruccio Patuna, one of which celebrates the inauguration of the Valentinis canal in 1907.
