The Monfalcone Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea (Municipal Gallery of Contemporary Art), opened in 2002, represents one of the most critical regional exhibition spaces dedicated to contemporary art. The seat of the Gallery is the old covered market in Piazza Cavour, restored and converted into an exhibition and multifunctional space.
Divided into two floors, the ground floor includes a sizeable longitudinal hall of approximately 400 square metres, also equipped to host conferences and conventions, and two adjacent smaller rooms; on the first floor, there is another hall for exhibition events.
It periodically hosts crucial contemporary art exhibitions.
