Among the most well-known events in the city and the region, the Carnival is a highly anticipated moment by the public, experienced with great enthusiasm every year. The event begins in the morning with the departure of the Procession of the Newlyweds through the city's neighborhoods, while the civic band performs in the streets of the historic center. At noon, the procession, composed of the Notary, Mr. Anzoleto, the bride Gambalunga, and the betrothed couple, gathers on the balcony of the town hall for the reading of the Testament. After singing the city's anthem, Mr. Anzoleto comments on the events of the past year with ironic and comedic notes. Once the reading is finished, the audience engages in traditional songs. In the afternoon, there is a parade of allegorical floats through the city streets.

Organized every year to promote the activities carried out by the numerous sports associations in the area and allow young people to learn about and engage in new sports, experiencing different disciplines. The event involves the downtown area and sports demonstrations mainly take place in the area of Piazza della Repubblica.

One of the most anticipated events in Monfalcone is the traditional Wine Festival, appreciated for its attractive power of traditions and food and wine offerings, with wine tastings and local products. The event takes place in the main squares of the city and in the historic center, and there are also numerous collateral events: conferences, concerts, exhibitions, street artist performances, and more.

Monfalcone Estate is a rich series of events that takes place throughout the summer season and is connected to the major regattas of the Gulf of Panzano. Events, concerts, shows, and sports activities involve the residents and tourists in different areas of the city, from the historic center to the renewed and redeveloped coastal area of Marina Julia.

Since 2019, the "GeoGrafie - writing the earth, reading the earth" Festival, organized by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with Pordenone Legge, explores various themes of interest and in-depth exploration through presentations, conferences, and meetings with renowned authors at the national and international levels, while still paying attention to the local territory. Alongside profound topics, there is also the joy of sharing something that concerns the present with lightness and amiability. The Festival involves the entire city, its cultural venues, and the young people who are both recipients and active participants in numerous initiatives.

The grand celebration dedicated to spring and the world of flowers and plants: the city center transforms into a blooming garden with "Monfalcone in Bloom," an event organized in collaboration with Flash Srl and AssofiorItalia, where Monfalcone adorns itself with flowers and colors, and numerous initiatives involve the community.
 

In the month of December, the city and the streets of the historic center come alive with a rich program of events to celebrate the Christmas season and the beginning of the new year, involving the community and tourists with colorful lights, a cheerful Christmas village, street artists, and musical performances.
